A bit more character interaction and a bit less video game footage would be even nicer, but it was all very pretty :-) I do think both Tom Hiddleston and Chris Hemsworth are perfectly cast.
Daffodil Ranger was annoyed by the pseudo-science, and the general rubbishness of the Asgardian defences, but I was OK with that - the characters, and their choices, all made sense to me and that's what I care about.
If/when I watch it again, I will play spot the pop culture references - lots of Tolkien and Star Wars, at the very least.
