I can take a smooth airplane ride or a long passenger-seat car ride on half a Dramamine and be ok.
I can take a bumpy airplane ride or a long passenger-seat car ride while reading on a whole Dramamine and be ok.

It took two Dramamine tablets to get me through Cloverfield and I still felt a bit woozie on the way out (though that may have been the extreme drowsifying effects of the Dramamine at work).
Anyway, it was totally worth it.
