1. I hate rays - manta, sting, I can't tell the difference, they're all plotting to eat me. Usually I won't freak out if I see them from above and several feet away, but catch a glimpse of the underbelly and I get the shivers at the least, burst out crying at the worst. We trace this back to when I was a toddler sitting on the window ledge in front of an aquarium, and just as I turned around to look at the fishies, here comes a ray, mouth to the glass, up from under me where I couldn't see it. Ugh, just remembering the story gives me the shivers.
2. When I was little I found out I could scramble around in a back bend, and that it really creeped people out. So periodically I have to freak people out with my Exorcist-like movements. Now if I could just go down stairs like that...
3. I really like kappa. Even before Saiyuki and Gojyo, I liked them, because of the 3rd Ninja Turtles movie, when the prince from ancient Japan calls the turtles 'kappa' and Mikey goes, "Cappa? Cappuccino? Nah, it makes me hyper." And that brings me to...
4. If I like a show, I will quote it. A lot. And expect other people to play along and respond with the next line, or another line from the same show. Ready? "And you know how they took out your brains? They took a red-hot poker..."
5. Zombies. Zombies make everything better. I <3 zombies.
6. My collection of rubber duckies will one day take over the world. Excepting the Chuck-a-Duck siblings, every one is different and whenever I take a bath I must reenact an epic Rubber Duck Army vs. Rubber Duck Rebel war. One day I will get that Leopard duck, and she will unite the rebels in an uprising against Lt. Zombie Duck.
7. I refuse to wear plain white socks anymore. Ever since I graduated, I shunned plain white uniform socks and whole-heartedly embraced fun socks. Today, I have socks with tofu on the toes.
