The Outside Soto's Room Report

Nov 18, 2008 14:44

A few people from the Japan club and one from German club, actually, we've been working on an Eisa drum dance to perform at this Friday's International Day Thing. We only had 10 days' notice, so we picked an easy dance XD It's fun, but holy moly, after hearing the same 5 minute song on repeat for an hour and a half every weeknight since last week... I'll be hearing Sanshin no hana in my sleep for months.

But! It was really foggy all day today, so tonight after practice ended I went out with my camera and took fog pictures.

That was about 9pm, standing in our driveway facing away from school. Usually you can see about five houses or so...

Uncle has really good timing. I just received my birthday present from him and Aunty and Cousin today (less than a month late, not bad!) New jacket, yay! Also, embroidered wrapping paper.

Also, my house is haunted. By me. I can turn on the light from half an ocean away. (≧∪≦) Daddy volunteered our house to be guinea pigs for the new home security setup, so now I can check up on the puppies, arm/disarm the alarm system, and all sorts of neat things, all from my room in Oregon. Or, well, I could, if there weren't so many bugs still...

...and that concludes our Outside Soto's Room report. We now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast.

home!, huh
