My inner child sez hi....
For some, it was the Lord of the Rings trilogy, for me, it was another series entirely. I'd read The Chronicles of Narnia when I was very young, maybe 9, maybe even as late as 11. I can garauntee that I didn't understand half of the context that was going on, but that's also how the books were done. I also only got through 5 out of 7 books, but it took my watching it again on Sunday on DVD for it to really hit me.
Like in the theatre, I remember getting all kinds of emotional at different spots of it, like the first time she steps through the wardrobe, when they meet St. Nick, little moments in the movie when I remember through the fog of my brain reading these parts as a kid. God, I want to watch the movie again and again.
Instead, I'll probably go home and watch more Kung Faux.
