I GOT IN!!!!
I'm into the Folklore school!!!!! Aww, this is going to be so cool. I cannot WAIT to study these things together.
One of the things I really want to do as far as field work and journalism go is to live in Iceland for a while. They not only have one of the coolest, most entrenched belief systems (they have someone employed by the government just to certify that building sites are not taking over places where elves live), but they're going through a fascinating point as a nation--an Interesting Time, so to speak. Their financial system has collapsed, which has led to the government's collapse (which makes me wonder: is the elf-spotter out of a job?) How cool would it be to be there and study how their beliefs and government are affecting one another? How awesome to talk to these people and write articles from one of the most beautiful places in the world?
It is going to be a LONG few months until I get to leave for school!!!
