MAGICAL GIRL MONTH: "guest blogger": your disco needs you!
today's "guest blogger" is sin_queen, my BFF and roommate! notably she did not actually write this post, but rather responded to my questions thusly:

so this post is actually by sin_queen, with added images and videos and coherency and obsessive wikipedia-ing by moi. :D you could say i'm a... ghostwriter??? :D?????
impossible princess kylie's theme/victory song, "your disco needs you": you're never alone!
one of the things that is so great about is she's so honest and to the point. the songs are all about love, music and dancing, and are very straightforward in that regard, but she's not ashamed of what she feels and she's not afraid of whatever she's talking about. in fact, there's so little negativity in her songs--even the ones about being broken-hearted are still focusing on the silver-lining: "yes, you've gone and left me but you're the one missing out, and now you've lost me so come on, watch me getting over you!" (lol, omg, someone made a video of this using the sims!!)

she has satellites around her head i love her you guys
qualifications:
→ she has a billion costume changes, as noted by the, um, many videos i am posting.
→ she has a MISSION: salvation through dancing! THE WORLD NEEDS DANCING!!
→ she has a villain? possibly cancer, in which case: DEFEATED! wikipedia tells me that her openness about dealing with cancer caused more young women to come in for checks, which is pretty amazing, guys.
→ she began her career as a teenager, like so many magical girls!
sin_queen: "the moral i take away from kylie is that time and dancing heals all wounds. she never wallows in self-pity or misery and is always like, 'i'm going to make the most of my situation and move forward and something better will come along--even if that better thing is just me dancing and having a great time. ...I LOVE KYLIE! \o/"

i think the theme of this one is "everything is bigger and better and MORE with kylie singing at you." a statement we here at magical girl month headquarters can get behind!
SECOND BONUS: this video is not necessarily ~magical girl~ themed, but c'mon: she sings into a BLACK BE-JEWELED GLITTERY SKULL. her band are all covered in glitter and feathers and butterflies and jewel-encrusted piercings! i love it! *___*
