Random Bits of Trivia
Here is a question for all of you (especially for my US citizens friends): Which one of the states was the last one to become a part of the US?
Consider this a multiple choice question - you have 50 choices (well, 37 if you know your 13 colonies). In case you were wondering what prompted me to ask this, it is among the standard questions on the US citizenship test. So, I was actually wondering how many US citizens actually know the answer to this one. So, there, I'm doing you all a favor by giving you a chance to either (1) show off your brilliance, or (2) learn before you put yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
And on a different note, for all of you current or former Huskies, apparently UW was founded over 20 years before Washington became part of the United States. Curious fact, isn't it? I don't know about you but I, for one, had no idea! As usual, one learns something new every day.
