I hate those moments when I'm being reminded of how f***ed up the reality is. So, apparently, it takes OSHA about 2 years to issue a temporary emergency standard limiting the use of a widely used hazardous chemical that has been proven through multimple reliable studies to have a severe negative health effect on a large number of people. And who's fault is it? Big business lobbies that have shitload of money to stall almost any piece of legislation in this country? Small businesses that do not have the same resources to agree on any regulation that would put them in a disadvantage with the bigger businesses? Overgrown governmental bureaucracy? Republican administration and congress? Unions? How about all of the above and probably more... So, where does one start fixing this goddamn problem???
