Now you're ready to enter this circus called "Miss Riicca reviewing"~
Once again I'm in tears because of a couple of fictional people. I'm retarded and I know it *lol*
Oh my, there're so many beautiful things in this show. On one hand, NwP is silly, cute and überly random.. and on the other it's the most touching and wittiest thing in ages. Everything's so fresh and the actors are simply adorable; I'm not talking about just Kame and Yamapi, but the whole cast. I really grew to like Gun -and, naturally, the KORETTA DESTINY couple *giggles*
The dynamics of Kame and Yamapi are way beyond my imagination. The guys have such on-screen chemistry that it makes the hobbit crew look a bunch of amateurs. The boys are so into what they're doing, having fun.. it's radiating from the episodes. It makes me happy^^
I love all the little things Akira says and does -the finger gestures, the weird voices, the BOYTOUCHING, the whole set. I read Yamapi improvised many of his scenes with Kame; probably that's why the show has this loose, carefree frosting. After I get the pre-show special and last eps of GTO downloaded I'll think I try out another Yamapi series. Kame is a hottie (as ewii would put it *lol*) and I love his long eyelashes and crooked nose, but somehow I feel more attracted to Yamapi and his plushy lips and eyes sullied with a dash of puppy-like sadness. I simply like him. I've found one good NEWS song (Hoshi wo Mezashite) and now I hope I could start liking some more, since his singing voice is so sweet. The soft, stuffed up shade in his voice is just too luring to me to bear :) Plus, the other guys are quite cute too *lol*
My favourite NwP eps would be.. well, they all have something I like: goofy school scenes, lovely descriptions of the friendship growing stronger, not too pushy thoughts on life and important things, great music.. But the most I love eps #05-09. Why? Yes, you guessed right: because of the Kusano<3Nobuta fluff. My special favourite scene is the one in which Nobuta punches Akira. Shuji kneeles down and whispers if it hurts. Akira doesn't look at him but anwers, "Heart hurts." That and the music in the background.. waaaah. Pwetty<3 So SAP but so PERFECT~<3
The thing I was most disappointed in the finale was the lack of K<3N. I understand the show is primarily about Kiritani Shuji and his shallow and hollow life and the changes he has to go through in order to realise he needs to become a better person. In attempt to find out what he really wants from life, he needs to learn to trust the people around him and see that not everything's about the pretty facade. There're real things he needs but doesn't have, such as the gift of really enjoying life. Though the title of the show says "Producing Nobuta", it's not the point. Nobuta teaches him lots of things about friends and real joy, but for him, accepting Akira as he is, is the biggest change and challenge. Akira's the odd, eccentric guy no one really wants to hang around with, the type of person Shuji hates the most: awkward, bizarre and above all, unpredictable. Seeing Akira getting through Shuji's strong walls spreads this funny warmth in me. I think that's what I'd like to get from life: something solid. Something crazy. Crazy and solid^__^
So, from that point of view, I understand why the writers wanted to keep romances out of this. The show needs elements of romantic stuff in order to keep people hooked, so of course I was, and I guess many before me, sad and pouty after realising none of its was going to happen. However, that plotline was closed very cleverly: Shuji says he likes himself the most when he's helping others. When he's helping Nobuta. After hesitating Akira has to admit it too. He likes himself most around Nobuta. It's that feature he loves, maybe not the girl herself. Pretty, enough deep.. I accept what I get. End of story.
And, we have fanfiction to fix the faults of the writers x)
Ep#10 is friggin' sad. So hopeful and optimistic it hurts my heart. I LOVE the Christmas bits and I LOVE the ocean in the end.. letting Shuji go, to give him a fresh start, was a good decision. The character needed it. He staying around in Tokyo would've suffocated him, I feel. He had produced Nobuta, he had lost and gained back the trust of his class.. he needed new circles, a new game. LOL, Akira's comeback! So precious^___^~<3 I want similar glasses<3
(Actually, totally offtopic, but I'm going to go and pick new glasses next week :D So, perhaps, perhaps.. *a cheerful grin*)
Gaaawd, I just love this show. Thank you for recommending it to me; this was really what I needed, an amazing way to escape this gray reality. (Though, as Shou says, "a world dyed gray isn't real")
*blows her nose* Geez, already the fifth tissue-.-
Anyway, expect some icons soon of this fandom.. at least some Yamapi-ness, perhaps a few kame ones too.

My second day at work was quite good. The kleptomanic kid left me alone at the instant he noticed I wasn't wearing the marble necklace *LOL* I spent most of the day washing toy animals (chickens, cows, sheep, tigers, cats, dogs, horses, ducks, MAMMOTHS WTF?!). When I had a tea pause I didn't go to the dining room to spend it with the other workers; instead I stayed in the cleaning closet and called Katja. Mwahhaa, yeah, I'm lacking social skills xD No, really, I had something to ask her, plus, i didn't want to go there because of the others gossiping over the absent people -probably including me x)
Umh, and gotta say, I'm not pleased with the Apartment movie vers. of Chizuru PV. It's like.. like commercial. I JFHAJKAYIE; WORSHIP the clips of the band, but.. bad PR, bad PR. I'm dying to see the whole PV full, without all that movie crap. Guh, the end where Kai collapses onto his drum set.. daaaamn, I want to see the equivalent scenes including the other members, since I'm sure there are some in the "original" version. And i want the girl with the white dress! The sand and the ocean look so amazing.. and Uruha *THUD* he's just more and more beautiful every time I see him! His new hair.. the suit.. ywaaahh.. damn it they went all PVC *pout* Also, I'm going to miss Ruki's hat^^~<3 What's with him and the visor anyway? xD He will hear jokes about Maaya the rest of his life *teehee*
Other things: I'll be gone this weekend (camping and BOOZING yeye with kasumi24 and the others) and I'm not sure yet if I have time tomorrow to pop by and say "hi" and stuff. Hauskaa jussia näin ennakkoon! Meidät löytää Himoksen retkialueelta sytyttelemästä metsäpaloja x)
