Last Friday I finally found shoes which match with my dress! *slap-happy* Okay, they're not even close to the style I had in my mind when I started my aimless wandering in the stores, but they're pretty and black and sparkly^^ They were cheap too, which made my wallet happy~<3 Think about black tiny plastic pearls and leather and Caesar and you know what kind of shoes I bought *LOL* No, really, they look nice :) I'll share some photographs later this week (if I remember -there really is an extra hole in my head!)
Mmm, and finally I had the money and chance to ORDER KAGRRA,'S -SHIZUKU-! :D I'm waiting for it to arrive at the end of this week/early next week. Oh, I can't wait to cuddle the pretty cover booklet~<3 -Shizuku- is my graduating gift to myself x)
My next CD purchase will probably be Gazette's Stacked Rubbish or MUCC's The Worst of collection. I'm very strongly tempted by Alice Nine's White Prayer, too, but since it's only a single, I might skip it and focus on waiting for an entire album to come out.
"NEW" SONGS I'VE BEEN ENJOYING LATELY
and by "new" I mean new to me ^__-
.ROAD OF MAJOR "Shinai Naru Anata he.."
I downloaded some songs from their Road of Major II album after seeing some pictures, and for some weird reason, I thought I would get something slightly MUCC-like, something.. heavy but melodic. So, it wasn't any wonder that I was a little shocked after listening the songs through, since some of them were almost.. pop. The closing track of the album, however, is damn addictive. It's something you'd play as a last song in some feel-good movie when the main couple has finally got together in the summer rain and now they're kissing under a tree or something as cheesy *lol*
Or this could be played when the couple is apart and the other one is sitting on a windowstill watching the droplets drumming the nearby buildings; the undertone of the song gets stronger as the song passes by. The way you hear the song depends quite a lot on the mood of the listener. The vocalist is really drowning himself into the song and the devotion makes me happy^^
.KIJINTAN "Isu Hime Denki"
Before I stumbled accross
shuukyou_ongaku, I didn't even know this adorable little recording existed! Apparently, Kijintan is a session band of Shou(/Alice Nine.), Ryouhei(/Megamaso) and Ranmaru(/ex-kuRt). This song isn't feet-sweepingly brilliant, but it's catchy and bouncy, and after first hearing it blocks your braincells quite effectively, forcing you to listen to it over and over again. The comm stated the single is from 2003, so obviously Shou's vocals have improved quite a lot after this song, but I'm still enjoying his singingin loads. Somehow, he sounds very different than in Alice Nine.
.KISAKI PROJECT "Chinmoku no Hane"
After Gazette and D'espairsRay, Phantasmagoria is probably the band Paula loves the most. I haven't gotten a hold of it, though she's been trying to convert me very determinately. However, Kisaki Project was LOVE at the first sight. The songs I've heard so far have very beautiful, soothing guitar solos and Kisaki's vocals are absolutely amazing, almost honey to my ears :) I've liked all of the songs I've listened to so far, but Chinmoku no Hane and Midnight Angel are my favourites~<3
.TATSUROU[/MUCC] "Kasumi" (Dir En Grey cover)
As you all know, I'm nowhere near of being a Diru fan. They have a few songs I like but.. you can't like everything, ne? The whole Kyo scratching and biting himself during lives thing gives me creeps. Kasumi is a song Paula used to play quite a lot and I was exposed to it.. and now I have it saved to my mp3 player. So, imagine my joy when she played me a Tatsurou cover of the song :) Purely adorable<3
HAA! Now I remember why I started to talk to you about my shoes in the first place! :D I found them in the sixth shoe store I visited that day. Its owner is a lovely, sligtly eccentric woman at her fifties or so, and, what I found the sweetest was that she lets her dog hang around in the shop too^___^ It was the nicest animal I've ever seen, very friendly and well-behaving<3 It was fun to try the shoes on and listen to the woman jabber to the little animal. If I ever have a store of my own, I'll let my Nao run free there too ^_-
(Yup, I've decided that my future dog will be named after Kagrra's bassist//Alice's drummer *smiles brightly*)
