I'm not familiar with Maeda Atsuko, but Toda Erika? Yes, keep her away from my screen, pls. And, yeah, it's too soon for another remake, I can't come up with good reason for why they could be that confident to think they could ride the wave of previous HanaKimi remake. That's such a naïve POV. Yes, it's been a while, but that remake was huge, you're only setting yourself up for strong nitpicking and biased comparison if you decided to do this now, people.

Maeda is one of the leading girls in AKB48 that I admit, I've been slowly getting into. I think she hasn't acted in many, if any, bigger dramas aside Q10 with Sato Takeru. She looks quite a lot like Horikita Maki, which is also annoying in this context -if they wanted to make a re-make of HanaKimi, why try to duplicate the success of the previous one by hiring an actress that is the spitting image of the "original" lead girl? :(

And YES, I just can't see how this could be a success at all. People loved the 2007 version, and the other Asian versions have been quite nice too, of what I've heard. Blergh.

Hiring actors/actress for a role based on their similarities with their predecessors sounds like such desperate move. This seems more and more like a cheap attempt to generate quick cash for some broadcast and production people by riding on the original HanaKimi's coattail. -_-;
Lololol He did that to Miyavi, huh, oh why are you such a troll, Bakanishi XD I still remember when he first came to Twitter, he was all 'hey yo, chyeah' at everybody, including JYJ's Jaejoong (which is a close friend of Yamapi and Shirota Yu, so I guess Jin knew him through them), and idk if perhaps they're not really that close or if Jaejoong failed to understand Jin's gangsta English, but his reply to Jin's 'hey, let's meet again later' sounded so awkward like 'man, I'm not sure how to reply to this guy, but err, oh well here goes nothing?' XP Ah, the last time I checked it was only the Yu bros and Bakanishi on twitter, but now there are four of them, huh, lmao, more players, more cracks, yo

To this day I still puzzled over the meaning behind 'yegga'. It instantly makes me think of 'yo guys, with a little bit of yeehaw thing in it', which is a complete nonsense. :D

It's been a while since I've watched any doramas, so I'm very far behind on info about the actors and actresses, so I'm completely clueless about these people. But dorama is definitely one of your areas of expertise, so well I'll just trust you in this one then, time will show indeed. XP And man, fingers crossed Ouran won't be Yukan Club v. 2.0, yeah.
