Yosh! Set the power mode on!

Miss Rii is feeling kick-ass energetic on this beautiful Sunday morning! \o/ I woke up at eleven, feed the cats and made some instant porrage. I watched two first episodes of Goong (kaghjhagjgagjshjlaksjkhgjjahkjhkjhgajjaajhd l_van, thanks for your recommendation, this Korean yummyness already owns me*.* and Joo Ji Hoon has nothing to do with it. Nope. Not at all. Naaaaw. ♥). I don't know, maybe it's all the spring-y sunshine outside my window but suddenly I felt all powered up. I thought I could sit in front of the laptop a little longer to make a few more icons for my and Leslie's icon battle but instead, cleaning outwon JE prettyness *gasp* Not happening everyday, I know. So. So far I have vacuumed, done laundry, organized my bookshelf and cleaned Eikka and Eva's litter box. Also, I tried to wash a shoe by hands, but that wasn't much of a success, so I'll stick it to the washing machine the next time I have enough white laundry to wash the shoe with. (I have a few pairs of Wash&Go's, very handy and very comfortable brand ♥ also, the shoes are economic enough *lol* I can even wear them at work, which is nice.)

Unlike so many other young people at their twenties, I like doing laundry. It's not that time-consuming as everybody says. Well, I make it not that time-consuming xD I don't much care about the warning signs in the clothes. I wash whites, blacks and colorful clothes separately, but that's pretty much it. I simply stuff the garments into the machine, add powder and put the device on. My mum has a very scientific system for washing clothes, I've never comprehended why she has to make it so difficult on purpose. (Like, to sort out all the colorful clothes; blues, reds, greens, yellows&oranges...) One day I will make a some horrindeus mistake and ruin one load of laundy by dying all my underwear pink or something alike, but, as waiting for that accident to happen, I'm all happy with my current system. Withing two days I've done three loads of laundry, if the one currently in the machine is included.

Instead, what I really really really hate is vacuuming. This flat isn't big, I don't have extraordinarily many furnitures and now Essz is having a room of her own, so vacuuming what's left isn't really that troublesome... it's just that I hate it. The vacuumer is goddamn old and soon at its breaking point. It's not very inspiring to work with it. I have to vacuum every spot twice because it doesn't suck(?? 8D) that well anymore.

I've painted a few new shirts. Essz photographed the latest one that was ordered by Jeeppa. I would've uploaded the pics yesterday but Essz's been out all weekend and 1)her über expensive and multifunctional camera requires some sort of programme to be installed before it allows the pics to be transferred to the computer, so I couldn't put them into Ahiru, and 2)Essz's own computer is password protected, so I can't do it that way either. I have to wait until Essz shows up and ask her to do it for me~

But, the new shirt is really awesome in my own opinion, and Jeeppa seemed to die of joy as she saw it^^b It has my own design on it, which was inspired by MUCC's Gokusai. On the front, I painted a cute, scared-looking cat with a star at the end of its tail and a hand (from Gokusai's cover) that's about to grasp it. On the back, under the hood, I placed the same cat but upside-down, reaching for a black star. I wrote in kanji the two first lines of the last verse of Yasashii Uta in the background. It's very neat. Jeeppa is a superbly open-minded girl without no prejudices, so I dared to involve elements from my beloved jrock hobby in the shirt. As far as I've understood, she actually has a Japanese friend who visits Finland every summer in order to get to all the coolest festivals. She adores Finnish bands, such as Disco Ensemble and The Rasmus. Jeeppa herself hadn't listened to Japanese rock before she met me, though she told she saw D'espairsRay and MUCC last summer live in festivals with this Japanese friend. Before Christmas she asked what sort of music I was listening to (we often have our mp3 players with us when the kids are asleep) and inspired by that, I gave her a compilation CD for Christmas. After the Holidays were over, she popped in front of me and clicked her phone open -and omg, there was a picture of MIYAVI as her desktop wallie ^___^~<3 It was a screencap of Ashita, Genki ni Naare's PV.

She's not the type of person to be fully converted into jrock (Finnish hard rock and metal is her thing), but I'm glad she wanted to give it a try and actually enjoyes some of the bands. When I have a huuuuuuuuuge urge to fangirl over, let's say, MUCC, she has a clue of what I'm talking about. Maybe, one day, I drag her to see some jband at Tavastia, who knows ^__-

AH! AH! AH! Speaking of which! :D Essz is soooo stepping into the dark side *lol* She has a total crush on Shou and I caught her watching alice nine. PVs in YouTube one evening x) She's constantly saying she's not a fan of Japanese rock and that she won't go into that jmadness that's now blooming here, but I knew she lost her own battle the moment she fell in love with YamaP^^ She's like me: very curious. I've talked about the alice posters I have? Well, she's been looking at them quite often, memorizing the names of the band members, which is really cute, and then she accidentally saw a bit of Ruri no Ame's PV, she wanted to watch it to the end, commenting it with all sorts of Shou-related compliments (she really seems to like his eyebrows *lol*). Originally, we were watching my new NEWS downloads at my comp and then the playlist shuffled the alice video. After that we sort of got stuck and watched some other clips too, of alice, Arashi and Pura. She absorbs words and pronunciation things fast and I was really impressed of what all she had learnt during her yet quite short JE fangirl era.

Do I have the best roomie in the entire world? Yes, I think so ♥

To Turku on Monday to buy some new manga... I would've wanted to go to Tampere, actually, to see some friends, but none of the big bookstores seems to sell Yami no Matsuei, which is rather surprising. (Or then I'm simply blind. That wouldn't be a surprise at all.)

The song I've been enjoying this week: The TRAX -Vampire
It hasn't been released as a single, so o'course, YouTube couldn't offer me a pv, but the vampire-themed FV is kinda nice, too.

EDIT: Oh!!!!! (omg, this entry is getting longer and longer xD) I ran into the REAL subs to alice nine.'s movie! ♥.♥ I remember I looked for them quite hard around a year ago, and gave up after not finding any, but now some kind soul has uploaded the movie with subs to YouTube :D The plotline is sweet, and now most of the totally random scenes make somewhat sense. It made me think about my friends quite a lot. Hmm. I cracked up at the end pretty bad xD "I forgot to say the title!" "Shou! Baka!" Maybe the script is lacking wit and surprises (uh, the password? "alice nine"? well now of course), but Tora managed to capture the band's true feeling well into it. And, it goes nicely with the song itself, so this is definitely a thumb-up vid<3

*waiting eagerly for Aquarian Age*

krock, omg work, jrock, real life rocks my socks, fanvids, the trax, alice nine, random
