Modern-day body snatchers

Dec 27, 2005 23:18

Bones of the British broadcaster Alistair Cooke were stolen prior to cremation and sold for illicit transplant procedures. Considering that there seems to be a market for things like toilet paper the Beatles did not use, I still thought that profiteers left dead alone. Anyone checked Elvis' tomb lately?

And question is; how many body parts of the non-famous dead have gone through the same route?

profiteering, weird news
