An Epiclly Spastic Entry
So, I've started watching Trinity Blood, due to increased interest due to RP peeps. Political Intrigue + Robots + Space ships + Pretty anime!Rome + VAMPIRES = <3 I kinda love it so far. I've also started watching Buffy. Still undecided. I mean, it's entertaining, but hardly up to Joss Whedon standards. It's only the first season, though, and I've been told it doesn't get really good until later.
Oooh! Speaking of anime! You never know when those art history classes are going to come in handy, man. I was watching an episode of xxxHolic with my sis and one of the characters created (magicaly alive) snow sculptures of these guys.
My sis was like ??? and I was like "HAHA OMG SHINTO GODS OF WIND AND THUNDER!" Japanese Art and Culture FTW! Good to know my liberal arts education is good for something... :p
Also, I am far too easily amused. Everytime I log in to Barnabas's RP journal and see LJ suggesting the comm the_crazy_ex , I want to laugh hysterically. Oh, boy, has he got some stories!
Also, also: June 6th-12th = FIELD SCHOOL! I will be digging in the dirt, like a BAMF. Hell, yes, field experience. Seriously, this will make me feel so much better. It was kinda awkward when I was in Chicago and everyone was like "Well, when I was on this dig..." or "While I was excavating in India..." :/ As of this summer, I will have been on a dig. Granted, in Kansas and not Mesoamerica (my area of interest), but still. I will no longer be the Archaeologist Who Has Never Dug. Now if I can only fix my sleep schedule before then....
