This past weekend we went to Walt Disney World for a weekend of fun. We didn't realize that it was Spring Break for the Northerners as we had ours two weeks ago and the parks were packed full of people. There was more teens and College students than you could shake a stick at. i would have complained, except that some of the College Coeds standing next to me were pretty hot looking Chics!!! And since it was in the mid 80's temperaturewise it meant----of all things----halters, t's, bikini tops and short shorts. I shut up about all the people being there. Ha Ha.
One of the first things we did was to go to Magic Kingdom and ride the rocket ride and it was fun. Especially for the kids. I got a little dizzy but I guess that is normal for an older adult. After that we watched a few shows and got some refreshments---cokes and popcorn. And then saturday night watched the fireworks. As always it was sepctacular. The 'Wishes' show always amazes me and again I took a few pictures. Here are a few:

After staying in a Holiday Inn saturday night we got up sunday and went back to Disney World. The first park we went to was MGM to see the real cars from the Disney movie "Cars". Here are a few photos.
Lightnin' McQueen---he is loud when he is driving.
After that we saw the live musical show of highlights from the hit Disney Movie "HIgh School Musical". It was excellent and full of 'catchy' tunes and some of the dance routines from the movie. I took a few pictures to show here:
After we finished there we left the park and went to Animal Kingdom where we saw the new musical "Nemo the Musical". It had live people singing and operating the fluorescent puppets that made up the show. It was amazing how Disney had accumulated singers that had voices like those in the original movie. I loved this show!! I couldn't show any pictures here as they did not allow photography or videography of it. Sorry.
After that we left Disney World and went to Downtown Disney to do a little shopping. There I got some shirts and hats and also some new Magical equipment from the Magic Masters magic shop. I had fun there watching some of the tricks. Later we went to eat pizza at Wonderworks and to see the Out of Control Comedy Magic Show. It was hilarious!

Wonderworks----looks like a building flipped upside down!
The entire weekend was fun. On Monday I got up early and went to work. My best friend Velma (from Domican Republic) was happy to see me as always and here is a photo of her modeling the shirt I bought her at Strawberry Festival in March. She always says hello to all, but she has a long ways to go in understanding all the English. With my help I hope to shorten the time it takes her to become more fluent.
