Woot!!
I saw Sarah adn Garnet yesterday. It was kewl!! They showed me Fantastipo.
A fun if very wierd film, from Japan. And I ate candy there. Tasty candy.
They wanted to get rid of it, so I was a helpful little goat.
Actually I wanna go back over there, and play Kingdom Hearts (I feel kinda guilty, but maybe if I pay for food this time... >_>)
Anyhoo. We had fascinating conversations, and I was told the Horrifying Nipple Piercing Story.
Still makes me writhe and cringe to think of it..!!
So anyway.. I left their place in the wee hours of the morning, so I could get sleep and a shower and look nice for today's interview.
So I was waiting for the 38bus at 2am (it runs hourly).
There were two guys there before me, smokin' and talking... they shut up when I showed up. Guess I'm a killjoy. ;)
They finished their cigarette and pitched it into a puddle.
A guy walked over, past me to the other side of the bus stop (little sheltery thing that hides you from the wind and rain... most of the time).
He was tall (to me) and slender. He struck me as a band kid.
and had the most fascinating shoes...
High instep, but went whoosh! to very flat, approaching the toes. pointed toe box (not like the new ugly women's shoes, but definately pointed), and the toes curved upward a little bit.
His face looked rather Russian to me.
"No, Elf, it's just your imagination-- you meet a lot of Russians, that's all."
...The two guys got tired of waiting for the bus and hailed a cab.
I walked into the shelter, and talked to the guy.
Russian accent. I knew I was right....
about 5 minutes later the bus came.
We got on, and my stop ame up first. As I got off, I turned my head slightly to glance at the Russian stranger.
"Dosvidanya".
His head snapped around to look at me with an expression of complete and utter "holy shit!"
O yea. I have a fan at Nick's Crispy Taco's.
Apparently Tex was accosted by this one guy who works there, 'cause he thought maybe she did the drawings..
she offered to learn my style, but that kind of offended me.
So I'll be pounced on next time I go in.. >_>

O! And I got a job at the AMC across the street from me!! YAY!!!
*does a dance*
and the felted Gouache Monster... is finished. :)
