Well its official now, announced in court, so I'll make a post here. I am acting Crux, hopefully for just a few weeks until 12th Night. Will be managing the search for the next Crux. I hope it's not a poisoned chalice

I'm fairly sure there are no cases of heraldic tinctures in Order names, as we thrashed out in great detail. The relevant quote allows for "Orders named for heraldic charges or for items that, while not found in period as heraldic charges, may be used as heraldic charges. [...] These names may contain the ordinary color names of any heraldic tincture." So: royalty not quite listening to heralds' advice before announcing something; not exactly a riveting newsflash, that. What the hell; we'll cope.

Will it be Silver Pegasus, do you think, or White? I much prefer Silver, though it sounds a bit twee; but White Pegasus sounds like the sort of paint that Leonardo da Vinci probably used, that gave art curators Lupus when they sniffed it. In general, a much better fit than the proposed ones from earlier on. Go us!

Congrats on being new Acting Crux, btw. Such a shit that it happened like that, and I do hope your successor's successor's successor's successor's successor will manage to put the recent pain behind him/her (I reckon ten years is about right to heal this particular debacle).
