baked lamb and rice

I had this recipe off the internet many years ago and used to make it quite regularly. Have lost it, so this is my best recollection.

1 Tsp olive oil
1 onion chopped
1-2 cloves garlic crushed
600g minced lamb
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground coriander
salt and pepper to taste
140g tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup pine nuts
1 1/2 cups rice
2 1/2 cups boiling water

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the onion and garlic until soft. Add the mince and fry another 5 minutes, breaking up the mince. Sprinkle over the spices and stir in well, cooking a few more minutes. Mix in the tomato paste and first quantity of water, and simmer briefly. Stir in the pine nuts. Spread the meat mixture over the bottom of a baking dish. Spread the rice over the meat, and then carefully add the boiling water. Bake covered in a 180 C oven for 45 minutes until rice is cooked.
