My gosh, we just can't catch a break. No sooner am I up and running around then Katie, my 14-year-old sister, gets diagnosed with pneumonia and sent to the hospital. She's been there since yesterday afternoon and they said today that she'll probably have to stay for another couple of days. Of all weeks for this to happen!! Oh, finally! I was able to get up and out of the house for the first time in over a week today!! #1. I SURVIVED DRIVING WITH AN INSTRUCTOR!!! Whew, I'm so glad that first trip is over with. I mean, I still have at least one more session, but at least now I know what it'll be like.
