I am sure fics and vids will come soon, I just can't wait. At least I have my own wild imagination, lol.
I LOVE Matt as the Doctor too. Which is one reason I'm sad I feel so negative towards the show. He is by far my favorite Doctor, but I just feel that Moffat is taking too many advantages with the show and doing whatever, he wants. Namely upping his favorite character creations, River and Rory, and saying that River is going nowhere. And making Amy the mother in law is just too much.
I actually think I would be alright watching the Doctor with another companion after Amy (but it still wouldn't compare to Doctor/Amy seasons). But if next season is just going to be more gigantic plot hole story-lines, and River Song... I just don't know. I might pop in for episodes that don't involve her or other stuff that will bug me. Episodes like "The Doctor's Wife" (his real only true wife, the TARDIS), and "Closing Time/Lodger".
I know their connection is intact, I just wish the show would have treated it better. But nothing can break them. I will go down with this ship. Moffat can do what he wants to separate them, but it is just going to make me ship them that much more.
