Torrential downpour

Mar 02, 2010 16:48

So it's been a fairly long time since I've downloaded any programs from the interwebs, and in the intervening time I've completely forgotten the name of this really wonderful torrent site I used to use. I think the name started with either an M or an L, and it had a bright green and white color scheme, and you didn't have to be registered to use it...I also thing someone off GOS told me about it. Anyone have any idea of what I'm talking about? And if not, does anyone have a really reliable, non-virusy free site to recommend? I know about piratebay and I don't like it, they've given me a thousand viruses.
I'm looking for a copy of the latest Manga Studio, just to try it out...if it turns out to be really dope I suppose I can find a legal copy, but I'm not willing to pay 299.00 for something I might not even like.
Anyway, thanks to anyone who has some advice.

*EDIT*
On the advice of goodbye_sun  and diskoverdrive , I went with btjunkie, which resulted in a super fast download of not only Manga Studio but also this year's Doctor Who specials, all without any problems. So btjunkie is where it's at, apparently.
For the curious: the site I was looking for was Mininova, which is no longer sketchy and offering free downloads, and the program is complicated but terribly interesting. I'll talk about it more later.

problems, audience participation, kill that pc
