so we spun the set for noises off today and it went so smoothly! we only need like 5-6 people tops to do it and since there are WAY more casters than we need, it moves really easily. it's a little hard to get it on the spike tape, but it went pretty easily. there are also five platforms that go down in front of the set that are NOT on casters, but each one only needs 3 people so that's easy to move too. all the furniture is pretty light too!

the only problems so far are the doors. the front door (third from the left on the bottom) is sticking and so is the bathroom door (second from left on top). part of the study door (far right on bottom) also broke, or part of the frame did. the thing where the latch is supposed to go was just a piece of plywood i think and since there's a lot of door-slamming in the show, they managed to break it in rehearsal, lol. the rest looks pretty good though! we put on the balustrades on the railing for the lower half of the front stairs and that went pretty well. we've still got to paint the underside of the second floor though and julie was spackling parts of the walls, and we'll need to paint over that. there's also the problem of the color of the walls: they look like dijon mustard. i'm not even exaggerating. : /

other than that, everything's flying together just swimmingly. we have our first tech rehearsal on sunday at noon and that'll last probably all day. and then opening night is the following thursday! :D

i guess that's all! i have ceramics tomorrow night so i'll post pics of my project when i get home. :D
