(no subject)
Trying to be productive and get little Miss's room ready for painting this weekend. Haven't made as much headway on that as I wanted but did get other stuff done. Errands can be a pain when you have to put a baby in a carrier every 10 minutes. Or maybe I'm just lazy.
- baby stuff got dropped off to donation centre for young mothers
- Costco for soda and water but they didn't have the soda I wanted
- tried to reserve in store an item that said was available online but turns out it really wasn't (took 2h to hear back, so that delayed my errands)
- had bath with baby
- tried out new breast pads
- changed clothes bc it leaked lol
- watered plants
- made rocky road squares
- made dinner (zucchini noodles with peas and pesto, fried sausages, salad)
- ordered corn for corn boil next weekend
- emailed ppl about Kijiji items; one got picked up, another is going tomorrow
- did dishes
- made more iced coffee
- emailed an export of data to someone
- read some book as baby napped in carrier
- posted to baby group about where I could buy something; now to investigate said retailers
- chose color for baby's room (required hubby's input)
- refilled cat's water fountain
Bonus was having hubby walk with baby in carrier to put her to sleep. Gave me a break but also is teaching me not to respond immediately to her cries, and she will learn that daddy can calm her down too.
Friday, I need to:
- find and verify that hole filler putty is still good (otherwise buy more)
- move stuff out of baby room (what I can, anyway)
- wash walls
- fill holes
- sand filler, and poorly sanded fills from previous owners
- get paint tinted (bring cans) and buy another roller and tray
- say goodbye to bookshelf (yay!)
- review numenera adventure and make notes for first GM experience
If possible, petsmart for litter and scratching pad.
