Looking for assistance from the cosplay/costuming community - a quick survey needs your responses

Hello Cosplay/costuming peeps... Hoping you can help us out. One of the conventions I staff is looking to boost its costuming/cosplay programming and draw in more cosplayers/costumers, and since I know only one small part of a large thing, the best thing to do is hear from all of you. We've created this survey to hopefully capture what cosplayers are looking for at conventions. We want to make it appealing and a better experience for our costumed attendees, but we can't do that without knowing what cosplayers/costumers are looking for at this kind of event.

Please fill it out (provide survey-related feedback if necessary - I had a few people review the questions and try it out and used their feedback, but can't hurt to have more) and forward on. It does NOT have to be from Toronto area people only - in fact, the more varied the responses, the better.

The word "cosplay" was used because it seems to be more popular with the young crowd compared with "costuming", but we'd also love to hear from those who consider themselves costumers and not cosplayers, and those who primarily costume in other venues, such as the SCA, who may be contemplating attending conventions that have costuming programming tracks.

This survey does not cover every single aspect of cosplay at a convention as it'd be way too long and detailed, and we're looking for the general vibe of the community. If there's more you'd like to discuss in detail, please feel free to email me, PM me, facebook message me, etc.

Thank you so much! We want to make the conventions better for YOU, but can only do that if you let us know what you want. Signal boosting is appreciated.
