(no subject)
I finally got that book of notes from Mr. Cromie, so I should be able to get my coursework all tidied up. He was telling me that Ethan is in John's class, and that his wife knows Judith-apparently Rebekah and Joel were fighting =)
Yesterday we watched part of the film version of Gatsby with Robert Redford and Mia Farrow. So far he seems very well cast, but I'm not so sure about her.
Alex and Kate both gave me presents yesterday: Alex's was a lovely bag and a bracelet that I absolutely love, and Katy's was some very nice perfume. It's kinda nice having my birthday spread out over a week or two =)
David's still not well, but he's on penicillin and a young pharmacy of other stuff, so hopefully it will clear up soon.
CROs aren't really as scary as I thought they were...in fact, they're rather fun to play with :) There were only five people in the first period of English, and of course we were doing the scene with eleven or so parts...made it interesting, anyway. I was Blanche, again. I know that I'm not the world's greatest actress, but I wish people would at least make an effort-some do, but some ignore italics, stage directions, everything. The direction might say Screaming wildly awhile jumping up and down and they would still use the same flat, toneless voice.
Today I started my annual Attempt to Get Fit, by running a mile. I was pretty pleased, not by the tiny distance, but by the fact that I went outside, got warmed up, did the running, warmed down and got back in inside eleven minutes, and didn't notice any pains or difficultly in breathing =)
Someone had a book on interpreting dreams in Maths today...who thinks up this stuff? There were entries on Yule Logs, but nothing on cars, and certainly nothing to help with Murders at the Bottom of the S1 Stairs.
People are really strange. So many spend their lives worrying about inanities, like those fourth years on the bus and the idiots in comfy. Maybe it's just me, easily irritated or something.
I've been looking in the S2 customising system, and I think it will be slightly easier, although I'm used to S1. A template describing where all the different texts and so on actually are would be useful, but I'll just have to play around with my journal, I suppose. I think I accidentally did something bad-went into school this morning and it was all black :) Ack, it's happened again! I like not S2!
Okay, must go and make peanut cookies...I said I'd do it last night and I got sidetracked.
