"What it truly is...is freedom."

English Lit. was this morning and the exams are over, for another four months, anyway =) The Chaucer question wasn't too bad, the Lear was nasty and didn't give me a chance to learn most of the stuff I learned, but it could have been worse. I think I'll do okay.

I'm so relieved, and glad that now I can relax and do what I want without feeling guilty. Perhaps I'll even get the next chapter of that accursed and perpetually growing story finished and posted...and perhaps pigs will go zooming past the window. I've been online all evening, and it's fun ;) Now, as long as the results are good in March!

Will and I were the only two in English this afternoon: apparently the rest sloped off after the exam. Mrs. Ince wasn't there so Mr. Cromie came and gave us a couple of copies of The Glass Menagerie to read-I got it finished, so at least that's one less thing I'll have to do when it comes to the synoptic unit in June.

My last offer came the other day, along with a rather ominous letter demanding that I tell UCAS which I want to accept. I don't KNOW, I told you that! But I ought to consider myself as fortunate...which I do...in a way... Lots of people have been turned down, so getting six offers makes me better off than most, but still, it would have been considerably more helpful to the decision process if a few had refused me!

Fëanor kaput-ed about three times this evening, eating most of a letter I'd been writing and a rather important post on A&E, neither of which I felt like re-writing as well as the first time.

Ruth iced a chocolate cake as a celebration for the end of exams, and we're going to rent a few DVDs now that I have time to watch them. I'd quite like to start with King Arthur. Ashleigh and I are going to go shopping tomorrow to see if we can find anything for the Night at the Oscars thing-which reminds me, I need to text her.

Now, however, I am going to go and have a very long, very hot and very relaxing bath =)

good things, school, exams
