Room 420: Wednesday Afternoon [8-24-11]
Helen had put it off and delayed as long as she could, but if she didn't leave by tonight she wouldn't be able to connect with Jaimie before he world-walked to a place that the portals here didn't seem to reach. It had taken a lot of thinking and planning to figure out what to do when she had to leave - and a lot of fingers crossed that the timing of Jaime's visit to his current world would work out. Still, her oldest friend was within portal reach for the first time since Helen's arrival and he was more than happy to have company as he Walked the Bounds.
And maybe somewhere along the way she'd find a place she'd like to remain - or wander long enough that she was once again welcome at home.
She packed the last few things she'd need into her pack and took a moment to stare out the window. She was going to miss Fandom. Especially the horses. And James.
