Exhausted!
I've just spent the weekend on a giant District Guide/Brownie camp. There were 160 of us all doing different activities.
We were so lucky with the weather, especially Saturday which was lovely and sunny. I was sleeping in a pack holiday house, but because we ran out of beds for the leaders, I was volunteered to sleep on the floor. It was OK, but I am still stiff and very much looking forward to my own bed.
The best part was this morning when I got to have a go on the high ropes course. I'm glad to say I didn't freak out at any point and coped with all the sections really calmly.
It ended with a fantasticly fast death slide. I did scream when on this, but that was from excitement, not fear (I laugh in the face of fear). Someone filmed me with their phone and have said that they will put it up on youtube. I shall post the link if they do.
