Today, I recieved my corset material, bones and lacing through the post.
I didn't order them until I'd made a scrap one and checked the fitting. Cue lots of giggling as Mother pinned me into it.
Now I have to stitch up the real one. There isn't a lot of material, but there is lots of stitching. I have 24 bones in this garment, each of which has to have it's own channel sewn. On the up-side, with all edges enclosed on the finished article, I don't have to neaten any seams.
Got my boots as well. They are great!
