My Father's childhood...
...Sort of.
My Dad was educated at the Royal Commercial Traveller's School from age 4 to 18. It was a godsend to my early widowed Grandmother. My Dad has always had fond memories of his childhood there and today has found a film that was taken in 1937 (a bit before his time). He recognised many of the places, including a tree, so I don't think it had changed much by the time he was there.
There are also shots of Scouts, Brownies and Guides.
