(no subject)
Remember that time when everyone got a tumblr all at once and then LJ became dead because everyone fell in love with tumblr? I was like, that's awesome for them but I can't be bothered, but I still had a bunch on my google reader and then about two weeks ago, I was bored at work and so I made one and now I have pretty much abandoned LJ. Late, of course, because I'm ALWAYS late when it comes to awesome internet things.
Anyway, for those who are concerned with these things, I am airportappreciation over there, because that's what I was doing when I made it. I'm so incredibly creative.
So there's that. It's a good thing that one of my NY's resolutions was not "post more!" because I would have failed that on LJ. Work has been good but slow, but that's typical for January. I've sat on-call a lot, but it's been with really good people. On the 2nd, I was with friends all day (which rarely happens), two of whom had hooked up on NYE and then sat next to each other on the couch comparing hickeys while the rest of us laughed at them. (Fair warning, I really only am on tumblr during work duty periods which is why it gets crazy spammed on certain days, LIKE TODAY. I'm about to go back over and go crazy.)
Last week I got snowed in in Atlanta. It was awesome, because I was actually sick and couldn't work, so I was able to enjoy the snow and not have to stress about getting to work, because the company was telling us to get to work, ice-covered roads be damned!
I'm so excited to be fannishly excited about Glee. I've said this before, but it's amazing to me that two actors can take a series in which I had a lackluster interest, and make me fall head-over-heels in love. I really want to re-watch from the beginning, but at the same time, all I can think of is how I hate Will Shuester and his entire storyline, especially in season one. (Okay, maybe I don't hate hate him, but I wish the show had started off focusing more on the students and not Will and his batshit wife. I just want him to be an awesome teacher, and nothing else. Like Mr. Feeny.) Maybe I'll do it anyway; I still don't have internet at my apartment (also why I spam tumblr at work), and have run out of tv shows to marathon.
This was a pretty pointless entry. That's also probably why I don't post here anymore; especially when I'm not flying, my life is pretty ho-hum.
I have an awesome cat. That's kind of the high point in my life right now.
