Guarded for a bit with Casey, did a psych study, came back and got into the water with Anne. Got called to babysit last night, but they also cancelled last night :(
So the swimmers had a formal last night, b/c we missed screw. It was entertaining. People here don't tend to dance until they have imbibed quite their fair share of alcohol... which they did. But Allison got complimented on her dancing 0__o
...and I think I may have been awkwardly flirting...
Needless to say, it was fun.
Hm. Sunday was fun as well. Managed to kinda-oversleep for church, so spent a little time overanalyzing my Bible. Book discussion on the Feed (have you guys read it? It's pretty new YA, and CREEPY dystopia-ness. More later).
FENCING IS LOVE. IN BRUISE FORM. WE GOT TO LEARN HOW TO FLECHE TODAY. FLECHER TAUGHT US. (SRSLY. THAT'S WHAT WE CALL HIM.) Though sadly I am inept at flying leaps. Andandand. Fenced electric for the first time today. Lost both my bouts, yes, but I got the first point on Claire (who is Sloan-good)
Guarded for 2 hrs - sub - almost fell asleep. Badbad. However - little people being taught how to swim by a swat alum was fun. I got to help, a bit.
Dinner, psych study (2.5 more and I can stop!), engin problem session -
Where I found out that boy left from the party really early b/c one of his friends from back home died in Marines training. Heart attack underwater. Makes me feel like a horrible person for wanting him to have stayed -
he also seems to think he owes me for helping out *to be read: letting him copy* homework last sunday/monday at 2 am... so I got help, which was nice. I hate moment (torque). Well, ok, it's fine, but not when I'm supposed to know exactly where to apply it. then it's obnoxious.
STUPID PBS IS DOING FUNDRAISING AND DIDN'T HAVE EMMA ON LIKE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. So I watched the end of P&P that I missed last week :) My Masterpiece theater buddies and I were disappointed.
and then I got to edit Cori's paper. Which was fun.
