Me study velly hard

Spazzed about my presentation today while sitting at the Res desk, of course was kept after for the first time ever (for 20 min) because someone got lost among the shelves - aka lost track of time while shelving - and there has to be someone at the desk. So I bolted my lunch, left Cori (who had been visiting me for research) alone in Sharples, and sprinted to LPAC, where I failed at normal technology... oh, well. The discussion was good; I don't know what my teacher thought; we went on for 1/2 hr instead of 10 min... yes.

Astrophys midterm tomorrow. Why couldn't space time be in circles instead of parabolas? Circles are much easier to draw!!! It's 8-10 tomorrow night O.O Lots of caffeine is in order.

Though this class is win: on our study guide for the midterm, we got this limerick:

There once was a woman named Bright
Who traveled much faster than light.
She set out one day
In a relative way
And came home the previous night.

XD. though, sadly, there's a "cosmic speed limit"...

Other random stuff: why does light get to the moon in ~1 s? distance to moon/speed of light=1 WHY?? and the seconds in a year are pi with some extra powers of 10.

Also, 2 quotes: "I can't know anything about you - student inscrutability aside - because I'm always looking back in time" and "In some touchy-feely Zen-like sense, we just need to let go" <- speaking, of course, about gravity...

Videos = sad. They take far too long to upload. The Epic Zombie/ninja/robot/pirate fight should be up tonight, though... eventually.

My feet have multiple broken blisters from my zoomers (no, I'm not using my new fins; Sue gave us zoomers and I went with the flow. I'm using my BIG finns when I come home, though. YAY big fins. I haven't used big finns since Posegay cut mine off in... 8th grade?) and I think my bruise is spreading... alas. It's not quite as pretty, either.
