Strung-together-important-bits
1) Went dancing last night with Naomi; Sloan had brought along the Stonebacks, who didn't really know what they were doing, but twas fun. As a corollary: Sloan seems substantially less depressed than he did over break, which I'm happy about. Though it could have been the ratio of actually-talking-about-life to dancing, which over break was low-to-high and last night was high-to-low. If that even makes sense. Anyway. There was happiness and swing-outs.
2) Interview for NACEL/American Village (aka That Thing in France) this morning at 9 am, which is evidently 3 pm France time. So I had to wake up and try to be coherent and she was 5 min late calling me and I was starting to freak out when she called. And it went pretty well, though I still hate phone interviews.
3) We're singing Brahm's German Requiem. Which - in the first few bars alone - is heartbreakingly beautiful. Though harder to sightread than the Messiah was.
4) If you want letters from me this semester/would like to be penpal-type-things (aka letters back, please?) LET ME KNOW. If I don't have your address, I'll pester you for it, but if it's the same as last semester, just let me know? Please?
and this is probably tmi, but evidently every bit of my skin is angry at me and trying to itch its way off of me and I don't like it and short of filling a bathtub with moisturizer and jumping in I don't know how to fix it. (also I don't have enough moisturizer to fill a bathtub)
