Yesterday, I seriously considered walking out of practice in a rage. Push-ups, crucifix crunches, squat-jumps, and lunges - and Burpees - do not generally factor into a swimathon. Especially not over-an-hour's worth.
So I went dancing and couldn't feel my legs. But Dave and Sloan came up (and... I told Sloan just enough of what's going on that he may tell Dave for me. But maybe not.) and two of my freshman girls and Naomi came. Twas great fun. Dinah and Naomi and Ashley all went in the circle to be jammed - the first two because they're new, & Ashley for a birthday. Last dance was a shim-sham, and I need a refresher on the full-breaks, but I love that dance.
Today I paid Sue for training trip, Jen came up and interrogated me on the whole Kevin situation (seeing as she kind of set me up, she's allowed) and gave my 59 presentation (which went pretty well... though Siddiqui randomly walked out in the middle of my video and then came back in) and then went to Jambo, where I got to listen to a cappella version of everything from Journey's Don't Stop Believin to Rammstein and Michael Jackson. And then I got dinner and hung out with Sirkka and Frank and I 'helped' finish the Ballad of Beelzebub and Louisa and sang along as Frank improv'd a violin part to Morning.
Tomorrow, I need to:
Rough draft Ed paper (though it's very very rough, and 5 pages instead of 8-10)
Write up 59 Project Report ( abstract, intro/rationale, theory, procedure/set-up, results, conclusions, appendices ) I'm going to run into U Penn tomorrow - Friday - morning, because I need copies of the standards which I don't have. But other than that... I should skim it once more to make sure that I'm not just babbling, but it's 26 pages. Quite respectable.
EDIT: Once I print it all out, this thing is going to be 40 + pages long. Way to go, science fair. Way to go.
Finish self-portrait -[there was serious work on it. maybe one more go late tonight, we'll see - might be done]
try to finish the impact lab - nope. push til tomorrow!
go to Art History, sign up for library shifts for next semester, go to Logan's drawing class' show (with Kevin), possibly midnight breakfast
