A few observations

May 07, 2009 16:05

I'm not sure how I feel about mixing Austen and monsters.  But Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Jane Bites Back are both going to be out soon/already are out.  Though I approve of the idea of the author getting to strike back at people who have been abusing her work for 200 years... Jane Austen is not a vampire.  And there should be no zombies, robots, or little monsterlings in P&P.  (Still, I'm curious.)

I've realized that I'll probably never do twitter because I like to meander through writing and not have to worry about curtailing my thoughts...  this has gotten me into trouble on FB, probably will be even more of a pain if it's a shorter limit, so no.

Evidently Kathy (who's teaching me step-dancing, not Kanadian Kathy) can go up on pointe while doing step-dancing... in shoes with taps, too.  *brains*

A cappella is shiny.  Tempted to try out at some point (another one of these 'well, if I had time' dreams).  Chaverim & Mixed Company were actually really impressive... was glad that Glenn threw a swing dance into the middle of 10,000 nights of thunder (hilarious)
(though the Titanic theme song should not devolve into 'I'm on a boat')

Only 3 more engin labs - final project is done.  Hebrew project needs a few more solid hours of work - may go do that next.

Stranger in a Strange Land revolves around sex.  *disapproves*

hebrew, engin, lab, austen, books, dance, vampire, a cappella
