it's really gloomy out and i've been listening to elliot smith pretty much all day.
my mom made me cry a few hours ago
with some ridiculously hurtful words
all jumbled into daggers of UGH.
she can really sting when she isn't on uppers.
and it sounds mean of me to say,

we bought a christmas tree.
i just want to be happy.
