PIE CHARTS FOR IELTS
Pie chart - это диаграмма в виде круга, разбитого на секторы разного размера. Секторная диаграмма - это графическое изображение деления чего-либо на части.
Следовательно, главное умение, которое необходимо продемонстрировать на экзамене, - это умение описывать на английском языке процентные соотношения, дроби, знать лексику по математическим вычислениям и грамматические структуры для сопоставления и сравнения математических данных.
Для описания пропорции и процентов можно использовать фразы “the proportion of”, “the share of”, “the percentage of”, “the ratio of”…
