A higher point on the roller coaster of my feelings
I bet the following phrases have never been uttered in your house before:
"I can't bake a cake because the oven is in the laundry room." AND
"I can't pour myself some juice because the toilet is in front of the refrigerator and the hallway's just too narrow."
Yes, my friends, the renovation continues. And continues. And continues.
Officially for this job we have either hired or consulted with the following people:
A carpet cleaner
A roofer
A floor installer
A realtor
Painters
An electrician
A plumber
A pest inspector
and various volunteer workers
Oi vay. It's coming along though. Just in a kind of "Three steps forward, two steps back" kind of way.
So much to do to get ready for school. I think mom is giving me tomorrow off though, so whoopee! Last day of summer spent doing homework.
Number of times I have enjoyed the "Fun in the Sun" this summer: 3 (Tia's birthday party, camp, and leadership retreat) That's about it. Oh well, as they say in France, Se la vi! (or however it's spelled, I'm being phoenetic. Whatever.)
