Ack - 14°C in the kitchen is not an acceptable temperature *shudders*.

I made a wood fire as soon as I got home, so it'll hopefully warm up soon, but I'm afraid I'll have to turn on the oil stove as well (which I was trying to avoid for as long as possible - the smell is horrible :-/)
