In all honestly, stuff like that tags the driver as an idiot in my mind. Same with people still driving around with Bush stickers. Whatever dumbass. :P
Uh shouldn't christians embrace their own commandments? Copyright infringment is stealing. Bill Watterman didn't want any of his characters merchandised and ALL of those stickers are without his permission. :/
Yes, which makes me wonder how they are so widespread? I know he has never authorized any commercial use of his characters. So where do all these holy Christians buy their illegal stickers? Has he ever sued anyone over this kind of stuff?
Back when I was in high school I worked at a card and gift store and for a short time we sold Calvin and Hobbes tshirts. Then we were informed that they were violating copyright laws and quit selling them. I don't recall if that was voluntary on our store's part or actually enforced by someone though...
He must not be litigious, otherwise they wouldn't be so rampant. Or its like trying to squash a bunch of little roaches, and not worth the effort it would involve? I would guess your store may have opted out on principal. As a fan, I would feel bad about selling merchandise the artist didn't sanction.
