If you want to visit the state Capitol, you'd better do it this week. Starting this coming Monday (8/13) the House and Senate chambers, including the galleries, will be closed (until further notice) for construction. Or something. The US Social Forum rally has begun. Late, of course. Loony Liberals are too busy feeling to bother to show up or start anything on time. The march to the Civic Center was supposed to start at 2:00, but the speakers didn't start talking until 1:45; and it's taking them twice as long to talk because every sentence is being translated into Spanish ( Read more... )
