2nd entry of online autobiography
After about a month of playing on GS, which it is now currently around April, I began to get some skill, and started to be recognized by people especially in the smaller games. I first met a guy named Flamezzz, and I would play with him just as a good acquaintance, he was also the only person on my gamespy buddy list at the time. Then in a couple weeks following my meeting of Flamezzz, I preformed extraordinarily well with this one person in a couple of games (apc rushing base together mostly) by the name of Destroyer. He asked me if I use WOL, because he liked playing on there a bit better, and of course I didn't know what the heck he was talking about. So after getting from knowledge and experience on GS I decided to try to sign up, and was another what seemed like a long pain of mess ups lol. Anyway when I was presented with picking a name, I of course tried element again like I did in GS, but it was already taken and so was other element combinations. I hated the thought of having to put digits in my name, because I personally despise them.
1. Doesn't look orginal, looks like a clone when you see snipa then snipa1424. Didn't look cool in my eyes either.
2. Pissed me off when in the past I met a really cool person, and only remember the root of their name, but didn't even bother with the digits after the name, and sometimes had to rely on them taking the incentive to page me back for a game.
So, with that being said, I had to think of a new name. I thought of myself somewhat lonely and a renegade (this means outlawish not Renegade the game for some who are tripped up on that) with few friends (at the present time destroyer became my only well known friend), and worked in my own benefit after a strong introspection to better myself and be a jack-of-all-trades in this game, to give a challenge. So going back to the name I decided on the theme of being forsaken, hence thought of using forsaken as my name, but it was taken, so I thought 1 digit wouldn't be bad (forsaken is 8 letters so could only have 1 digit anyways), and forsaken1 was taken so I was like well fuck that don't feel like going past 1.......so I thought of different spellings and fosaken was one of them, you didn't have the R (but most people even today still don't notice there isn't an R there), it was a ghetto sounding version, but it still sounding pretty cool. (Many people in the furture would call me fo or fos, which fos sounds much better than for would, oh and destroyer called me ele in gamespy, which to me sounded kinda on the femine side the way I thought of it being pronounced, elly, like one of those old american woman names lol, but it didn't bother me and it soon became normal everyday, and I would call him des)
So there I was, first introduced to WOL, and took me forever (I mean atleast an hour seriously) to find the sidebar in MP, no matter how many times destroyer told me where it was (on gamespy pageing system), I couldn't see it do to my montier was to big and the sidebar was not visible on the screen, so didn't find it till I got so pissed I couldn't carry out one simple instruction that I just ran the mouse all over the screen till it rammed into the left side of the screen and it popped out, so after setting up my user settings and logging into WOL finally able to start playing my first game there.
