Vidders & podcast editors, I may need your help
Which of you lovely people is a vidder or podcast editor? There's a project in the works (based around one of the PR panels I'm working on) and I'd like to get a sense of whether a currently-still-hypothetical distributively edited vid or audio element of it might work.
Would anyone with such media editing skilz be available for some interesting vidding or audio editing in the May 16-19 time block? You don't need to be at Phoenix Rising then, in fact this may be easiest done from home, but heck, I'm not a vidder or podcaster myself so I don't know how long it takes when, unlike me, you actually know what you're doing. We're hoping it could be a way to involve people who aren't at PR itself. The main thing is that, because it's a short timeframe and we'd be counting on you, we'd need to know that you could commit to pitching in. We'd provide guidance and info ahead of time, and specific notes with the actual raw material. Your final product wouldn't have to be award-winning or anything, though we won't say no to fantasticness or extra creativity.
If you might be interested, or know someone we should ask, comment and I'll flesh out the details more. This part of the project is still hypothetical based on whether there's enough interest to carry it off. But it would rock about 4,000 times as much if it can work, even if there are only a few people interested. We could make this fly with just one person, and we could make it awesome with five or ten...
