For the first time ever, I had an Rx filled at a Walgreen’s, and it was odd. Any other pharmacy I’ve been to in Michigan requires a signature when I receive my medication, especially this particular drug. Walgreen’s? Just swiped my credit card and sent me on my way.

Calliope’s poop doesn’t always manage to make it through the fur on her butt, and she refuses to let me near her when I’m holding a paper towel. So it ends up being a waiting game to see how long before... well. You know. Today, I happened to be watching her as she walked through the living room and lost her latest dingleberry. She heard it drop, turned and glared at it, then stalked off, mightily offended by the whole thing.
Yes, I’m eight. Poop amuses me.

On the other end of the gastrointestinal system, I made chicken stew with barley on Sunday. Wasn’t that great fresh, but warmed up, it’s wonderful, darlings, absolutely wonderful.
