Hey, it could've been worse! I almost bought new books off Amazon AND pre-ordered the last Percy Jackson novel because pre-order it's $11 and I know even though it's YA it won't be that cheap at Borders. But part of my common sense returned and I headed to Half.com instead.

Oh my god Mamma Mia is so awesome! But I am never seeing a movie on opening weekend again. Even playing against The Dark Knight the theater was packed. I ended up wedged between a woman who was, um, not the perfect size for small theater seats and a woman who is of the "you can never have too much perfume" school of thought. I hate those women.
