I am apparently the worst grocery shopper ever. Only I could have a $50 gift card and still overspend! Only by $15 but still, I didn't think I would. My only conclusion is that I was so unused to being able to spend that much in one sitting that I stopped paying attention to the prices of every thing I bought. I didn't buy anything too terribly expensive, just apparently a lot. I do confess that I picked up Carrie Lofty's What a Scoundrel Wants because it was $3.99 and I looked every where for that book and couldn't find it anywhere but Kroger which is just sad. 2 Waldenbooks, a Borders, and Half Price and I have to find it at Kroger. Here's hoping my dad gives me cash for Christmas.
I bought Minerva a bribe treat for the day before she goes to have her girl parts removed. I am not above bribing my cat for her affection. Also, she is going to be really pissed that she can't eat after 9:00pm Thursday night. Like, I will have to hide her food because she knows where it's at in the closet and she is not above digging the bag open if she thinks she's starving.
Merlin picspam! Primarily of "Le Morte D'Arthur" and heavy on the Arthur/Gwen. So, you know, awesome (this is what sucks about getting into a new show and a new fandom: there is not enough of a backlog of fic, good or bad, to glom up and devour).
Omg how annoyed am I that I have to work the day after Yuletide goes live? It's only my favorite part of the holidays! This is not to say I won't be perusing the archive at work, like I'll have anything else to do the DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS, but I'd much rather be doing it at home, in my pajamas, on my bed.
Also, I think when it's supposed to be cold and freezing rain I should get to stay home. The thought of venturing out tomorrow morning, even though it's supposed to be in the double digits, fills me with dread.
