I'm less pissed off now. If I don't think about it.

Last night I went to Kroger and picked up stuff to make pumpkin cobbler. I hope the recipe I chose is suitable. It seemed the easiest but still closest to what I had (instead of using flour and baking soda for the crust it uses yellow cake mix which I think is genius. Not that I don't have flour and baking soda but it's a hassle). I'm leaving out the nuts though because I don't like them in my desserts (that sounds dirty). I also spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out the difference between butter and margarine and in the end went with what was cheapest.

Wednesday night tv: Yay Bones! The only thing I didn't like about last night's episode was the Angela and Hodgins stuff. That is getting boring and ridiculous. And it seemed to me that they implied that Angela never loved Hodgins when Hodgins said "so you can fall in love with a man" the implication being she just didn't fall in love with him. Which, way to negate 2 seasons worth of development. But all the plane stuff? Awesome. I am totally loving that Booth is just upping his game w/r/t Bones. I think he's acclimatizing her to the idea of his feelings for her. He's not subtle, but he can't be subtle with Bones. Eventually she'll figure out what everyone and their dog knows by now. And I can't wait.

Life (I get the shudders every time Dani and Tidwell share space) but Ted telling Charlie "there are naked women in the pool" and Charlie telling Ted "Ted, I've made I decision. I'm getting in the pool" and Ted's "No man would fault you" (or whatever the exact words were) cracked me up. I love Charlie and Ted. And Bobby. And any time Charlie and Dani share the screen. "Is that glitter on your face?" "That's not your gun." Hee!

CSI:NY: There's a moment, at the end, where Mac and Stella are on the phone. There's a split screen. Mac says something about how their latest case makes you realize you need to take as many moments as possible with the people you care about. It was, as they say, AN OPENING. A perfect moment for Mac or Stella to go "about that . . ." Hell, it could've been as friends for all I care. Stella inviting Mac out for a drink or Mac to invite her to dinner. As friends or with the hope of something more.

On almost any other show in existence I guarantee that would've happened. On Bones you can bet your ass that if Booth or Bones said something like that it'd have been a lead in to a following scene of Booth and Bones eating pie or something or even of the entire gang hanging out. But not the CSI franchise. No. That lovely little PERFECT OPENING led to Stella hanging out with Adam and Mac making time with the new girl. BECAUSE THIS SHOW HATES ME.
