Thursday tv!
No earplugs at Kroger. I'll check at CVS tomorrow during lunch. I did get her a catnip toy and it appears to have more catnip than the other toys I bought her. I also bought her some treats so we'll play it bit before bed time and then I'll make her gorge herself. I'll also hold off on putting any food in her bowl until later. She's not starving.
I figured out why my cereal was on sale for $2. No strawberries! It's supposed to have strawberries! It's pointless without them!
While I feel really guilty about not going to work today due to fake illness I do feel more prepared to deal with work tomorrow. Of course that's now. Talk to me again when my alarm goes off at 7am and it's still dark. And when I have to deal with the people. I like them and all but I still feel so uncomfortable around them because I know I'm not permanent so I don't see a lot of point to getting to close to any of them.
Someone's pep band was playing "Carry On My Wayward Son" during the break. 1) Nice to see that it's not just high school pep bands that play that song 2) I bet it was Kansas State's pep band 3) If so, hee!
Any episode that starts with Lionel and classical music playing is awesome. Also, I will not adjust the antenna. I can see perfectly clearly. No it's not hidef levels but I can clearly make out Lionel and words on a page. I WILL NOT TOUCH THE ANTENNA. Because if I do it will just make it worse before it's better and if I was going to adjust it I should've done it before the show started.
Oh I forgot about Aaron Douglas being in this episode! Awesome. I love how he keeps coming back as a different character.

AND THE SUPERMAN THEME WAS PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND AS CHLOE SAID "We have to save Clark" when Kara asked her why they were there! OH MY GOD. Chloe, Kara, Fortress, pleading for Clark's life with Jorel, love, Superman horns in the background! I CANNOT CONTAIN THE CAPSLOCK!

Ok if we don't get a Chloe and Clark scene I'll be annoyed. So the book Chloe was looking at in the promo pictures was not this book. This one is full of Kryptonian mumbo jumbo. I like Patty Swann. But not if she's gonna be a new love interest for Clark. Taking an apartment in Metropolis?
Damn. I got excited at the DP shot but then they just kept going to the Luthorcorp tower. I don't think Lionel's gonna be able to talk himself out of this. "I'm a different man." "No you're not." Oooh, snap.
Chloe now? Or is it gonna be Clark and Kara or Clark and Lana? Either way they'll all be lamer but I can handle Kara better. But come on! Chloe went to the Fortress with Kara to try to reason with Jorel because she loves his son! Well at least Kara gave a shout out to Chloe and Lana for helping her. So this is all a set up for Lionel's downfall and death, right? The question is, will he get one last act of evil or redemption before he dies?
Well I guess Patty Swann won't be a problem as she was just killed! Dude. Hardcore. And Lex did it, apparently. What is with this freaking symbol. Urgg. I wish they'd stop introducing new mysterious things before they fully explained all the other mysterious things.

Ok so that was a pretty awesome episode. But really all it needed was for Chloe in the Fortress telling Jorel that she loved Clark and that Jorel needed to be a father and save his son's ass and it's pretty much the best episode ever. I'm so easy when it comes to this show.
Hmm. Now I need to come up with a convincing recovering sick person act tomorrow. Possibly I'll just mix truth and lies and tell them that it was really bad allergies (sort of true. My allergies are always worse when it rains and it rained a lot the last 2 days).
